Elections: Towards Governor Zulum's Second Coming
By Abdurrahman Ahmed Bundi
To support the re-election bid of the Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, I and a host of volunteers have tirelessly had a series of engagements with youth and women groups, clusters of marketers, community-based associations and football clubs.
In the last ten days, during the daytime and at night, to the nooks and crannies of my ward, OLD MAIDUGURI, we had interfaced with thousands bringing to their doorsteps the message of hope, we talk to them of the uncountable progress and achievements made in a couple of years by the Zulum's regime.
We had listened to them, we had made clarifications where necessary and in some cases offer some kind as well as monetary support.
We listened to their problems and gave them our word that we will take up their issue with the appropriate authorities and consistently follow up to ensure that it is addressed.
In some instances, we have embarked on some projects which include fencing of community Islamiyya and raising awareness of our people in choosing the best of all by voting for Zulum and all APC candidates.
As we round up our consultative, and most comforting understanding and appreciation by the majority of Borno people for the hard work and developmental projects executed by the Zulum's administration.
I have assurances from the vast majority of the people to cast their votes for Governor Babagana Umara Zulum as the next Governor of Borno State.
Let me acknowledge the support from the party’s Youth leader and Chairman of Elders from my ward. My friends and associates, who have been with me throughout working for the victory of our party.

Giving the breakdown, Zulum said, a donation of N300m was made by the Zenith Bank Ltd, N100m each by the Vice President-Elect, Kashim Shettima, the Yobe State Government, All Progressive Congress (APC) and the Chairman of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), Alhaji Kashim Imam.
