When a leader goes quiet, observers and opponents alike are left reading between the lines. This strategic calm is what keeps the political atmosphere heavy with anticipation. It forces the public and rivals to wonder if the silence is a retreat, or simply the gathering of strength before a major disruption. Ultimately, the most dangerous political force is not the one that makes the most noise—it is the one that forces everyone else to guess their next move. The heavy wind it blows is the collective anxiety, the plotting, and the shifting of alliances that happen while waiting for the masterstroke.

A Critical Reflection

Politics often tests the true meaning of loyalty.

If loyalty is a virtue, why does it sometimes appear to be the least rewarded in politics? Why do those who remain steadfast seem to face setbacks, while others who show little commitment often succeed?

This leads me to reflect on the journey of BULAMA.

If his loyalty, commitment, and sacrifices were evident, where exactly did he go wrong? Was it a matter of strategy, timing, circumstances, or simply the unpredictable nature of politics?

These are not accusations but genuine questions that deserve thoughtful reflection.

Perhaps politics is not only about loyalty but also about alliances, calculations, and changing interests. If that is the case, then loyalty alone may not always guarantee political success.

Despite everything, one thing remains certain: character is measured not only by victories but also by resilience in the face of disappointment.

May Almighty Allah continue to strengthen BULAMA, grant him wisdom, and open greater doors for him. Every setback can become a preparation for a greater comeback.

Bulaman Minna has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of Niger State and all Nigerians on the occasion of Democracy Day 2026 describing it as a time to celebrate the nation's democratic journey and honour the sacrifices of those who fought for freedom, justice and good governance.

He commended the resilience and patriotism of Nigerians in sustaining democratic values and emphasized that unity, peace, mutual respect and active participation in governance are essential for achieving lasting development and national prosperity.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that improve the lives of citizens and contribute to the growth of Niger State and the country at large.
