π CAN YOUR DIET AFFECT YOUR HEALTH IF YOU HAVE FIBROIDS?
If you have fibroids and experience heavy periods, nutrition is worth understanding.
HBU Explains ποΈπ
The goal is that you know your body and not guess
We have talked about why fibroids cause heavy periods (Part 4 - 32K views, thank you!) and how bleeding can be controlled (Part 6).
Today, many of you asked: Can my diet affect bleeding? In this educational animation, we look at 3 common food groups that are often discussed in relation to worsening bleeding symptoms. This is for learning only - everyone's body is different.
What food surprised you most in the video? Comment below, I read all.

Can Fibroids and Adenomyosis stop you from getting pregnant? HBU Explains ποΈπ
The goal is that you know your body and not guess π
This is the question I get the most in my DM after Part 4.
Many women think if you have fibroid or adenomyosis, pregnancy is impossible. That is NOT true.
But the way they affect pregnancy is DIFFERENT:
π Fibroid can block the womb, press on baby space, or block fallopian tube depending on where it grows.
π Adenomyosis makes the womb wall thick and hard, so baby finds it hard to attach and stay.
Same worry, different reason inside. That is why doctor checks LOCATION and SIZE first before advising.
If you have been worried, you are not alone. You need correct information, not fear.
Have you had this worry? Save this video to ask your doctor the right questions.

WHY do Fibroid and Adenomyosis BOTH cause heavy bleeding if they are different? π€
Many women think it's the same reason, but it's NOT.

Many women think it's the same reason, but it's NOT.
Fibroid bleeds because it stretches the womb and blocks it from contracting.
Adenomyosis bleeds because the womb wall itself is swollen and full of bleeding spots.
Same symptom, different reason inside. That's why treatment is different.
Did you experience heavy bleeding? You are not alone. Save this to show your doctor.

Fibroids and adenomyosis can cause some overlapping symptomsβbut doctors don't rely on symptoms alone to tell them apart.
HBU Explains ππ
Part 1 you saw WHAT they look like. Part 2 HOW they feel different. Now Part 3 is the SCAN that reveals the truth.
Fibroid = One round ball sitting in the womb
Adenomyosis = Many tiny spots GROWING INSIDE the womb wall itself
That's why ultrasound or MRI is needed - you can't tell just by pain alone.
Which part shocked you most in this series? Part 1, 2 or this one? Comment below π
