You don't get to meet good people always in your life time!
Just like the eagle, good people are rare species of mankind.
They are the cadre of humans with the purest and largest hearts!
They are always willing to displease themselves to please others...
They forgive easily, accommodate and always willing to suffer for the wellbeing of others!
Like the eagle, good people should be protected from extinction and existential threats!
As a good person, the first person to protect you is yourself!
Like the eagle, be foresighted/intuitive (see evil before it gets to you), make your nest on mountain cliffs (keep your peace and comfort away from preying and evil persons, even while helping others), make your wings strong (always be ready to flee from bad people to escape being hurt, always) and finally, be patient with people (perfection is not genetic)!

This is interesting for some folks...
“CAN A CHILD LEGALLY BRING HIS MOTHER BACK TO HIS LATE FATHER'S HOUSE AFTER DIVORCE?”
One of the biggest family battles in Nigeria today happens after a man dies.
The children suddenly say: “She is our mother, she must return to our father’s compound!”
But can a child legally bring back his mother to his father’s compound after the father divorced her?
If your father validly divorced your mother before he died, you cannot use emotions to cancel that divorce after his death.
A child cannot legally revive a marriage that ended years ago.
Yes, you can love your mother. Yes, you can take care of her. Yes, you can give her accommodation.
But you cannot automatically restore her status as your father’s wife after a valid divorce.
Once a divorce is properly completed:
- The woman ceases to be a wife in that family and does not have inheritance rights unless she's stated in a valid Will.
- Her rights in the matrimonial compound may end.
- The husband’s family can challenge her return to the family.
Some children usually think: "We are the children, so whatever we say stands.”
NO. That is not the case.
Children do not have the legal power to rewrite their father’s marital history. It was a contract between their parents and they were not parties to the contract.
The only instance that can happen is if it was SEPARATION and not DIVORCE, or where the divorce is not valid or concluded. In such cases, the woman may still legally remain the wife despite years of separation.
As children, she's your mother and you may reunite with your mother, but she's no longer your father's wife.

The essence of the charity drive, was to preserve foodstuffs for the days of lack, which was always sure to come, every semester; especially during examinations!
During those critical periods, students' foodstuffs normally ran out. Secondly, students hardly travel to re-stock, due, obviously to the prevailing pressure of those times. Lecture round offs, assignments, practicals, quizzes, etc.
Also, most students were out of cash for transportation, much less for feeding!
The charity wing coordinated the equitable disbursement of the foodstuffs so that everyone received according to their needs.
This week was lecture free and revision week, preparatory towards final examinations for the semester.
Hence, this was target week for the charity disbursement.
The coordinators were busy, to ensure all things went accordingly.
God blessed our efforts....

Finally, I mustered courage, and with the support offered to me by the feminine presence of my assistant, sister Confidence, I embarked on that inevitable charity drive!
All the seven hostel blocks in LAN and the sister hostels of GraceLand lodge, Nzogwu hostel, OkpĂşnĂł, and Amazon were effectively covered within some days!
We realized almost a bag of rice, large quantities of gari (students' o***m), numerous condiments, beverages, etc.
With all those "stomach infrastructures" we were set to face the semester, as our "faith in the Lord" soared higher than ever!
Those items were "prayers answered"!
During the fellowship "genco meeting", all the hostel coordinators gave accounts of their charity drives.
Then the "excos" were pleased. At least, they were assured that "the Lord will supply all our needs in his richness in glory through christ jesus"!
The charity wing leadership walked with their shoulders high!
The next Sunday fellowship was explosive! The pulpit and Sunday school classes topic "fulcrumed" on "faith to receive in abundance"...
The power of giving and communal living should not be underestimated.
Life's nothing without giving.
Love is false without giving.
Life must be "benefacted"...giving must be the crux of our day to day existence...

The semester began like others!
Each hostel block was mandated to collect and submit their charity donations from student members.
The exercise took off on a Sunday evening, after services.
As a hostel coordinator I was required to visit each of our members in our hostels, both male and female hostels.
My "predicament" has always been visiting females in their hostels....

The Charity Wing of EFAC was one of the wings of the fellowship!
Every member was meant to compulsorily belong to at least one of such wings/groups. The various old members and leaders of all the wings/groups made frantic efforts to woe newbies into their wings/groups. Each showcasing theirs as the best among all. It was left for the newbies to choose the groups they will belong, hence they did.
I choose the Charity Wing.
Though with few membership, this wing was the most important amongst all the wings! This was because she was the wing in charge of wellbeing and welfare of all the student members of EFAC!
The wing see to it that members are visited from time to time, making sure they were in good health and lacked no basic things like accomodation and food!
Beginning of every semester, the wing announced and embarked on charity donations and collections! These collections of foodstuffs, medicine and other materials were kept safely with the coordinator till time of disbursement!
FARMING KEEPS LIFE ON...
Whatever you sow comes back to you in folds!
So, go into farming today: to our will save human lives with your produce and also get rewarded during harvest!
For me, my first reward is the joy of planting seeds and watching them grow.

Whatever that have been is for a reason.
The university governing council has decided that for every student to sit for semester examination, they must fulfill 75 % attendance of lectures!
Students (even cultists) became serious about lecture attendances!
This made it difficult to secure seats as early as 6 am, every morning.
Once you are lucky to secure a seat, you were set for the day's business....
