I did it.
Against all odds. Through the pain, the stares, the silence, the doubts—even my own sometimes.
I wore that khaki with pride. I showed up. I served.

They said NYSC would test you—and they weren’t lying. But they didn’t know how much I’d already been through before I ever stepped into camp. They didn’t know the strength it takes to stand tall when one of your legs isn’t there, but your spirit refuses to sit down.

There were days I was tired—physically, emotionally. Days I questioned, “Why me?” But somehow, every morning, I chose to keep going. I didn’t come this far to stop halfway.

So today… I don’t just celebrate my POP.
I celebrate my resilience. My courage. My fight.
I celebrate the version of me that kept showing up, even when it hurt.

I’m officially an Ex Corper—but more than that, I’m a walking testimony of strength, faith, and perseverance.

This isn’t the end. It’s just the beginning. And if I could survive this—there’s nothing I can’t do.

Here’s to me.
To the battles I’ve fought silently.
To the journey ahead.
And to the life I refuse to let be defined by what I lost—
