*TOPIC: REFLUX DISEASE (GERD).*

is a chronic digestive disease. GERD occurs when stomach acid or occasionally, stomach content, flows back into your food pipe (esophagus). The backwash (reflux) irritates the lining of your esophagus and causes GERD.

Both acid reflux and heartburn are common digestive conditions that many people experience from time to time. When these signs and symptoms occur at least twice each or interfere with your daily life, or when your doctor can see damage to your esophagus, you may be diagnosed with GERD.

Most people can manage the discomfort of GERD with life style changes and over-the-counter medications. But some people with GERD may need stronger medications, or even surgery, to reduce symptoms.

*SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS*

- A burning sensation in your chest (heartburn), sometimes spreading to your throat, along with a sour taste in your mouth.

- Chest pain
- Difficulty swallowing
- Dry cough
- Hoarseness or sore throat

- Regurgitation of food or sour liquid (acid reflux)

- Sensation of a lump in your throat.

*CAUSES*
GERD is caused by frequent acid reflux - the backup of stomach acid or bile into esophagus.
When you swallow, the lower esophageal sphincter - a circular band of muscle around the bottom part of your esophagus - relaxes to allow food and liquid to flow down into your stomach. Then it closes again.

However, if this valve relaxes abnormally or weakens, stomach acid can flow backup into your esophagus, causing frequent heartburn. Sometimes this can distrupt your daily life.

This constant backwash of acid can irritate the lining of your esophagus, causing it to become inflamed (esophagitis). Over time, the inflammation can wear away the esophageal lining, causing complications such as bleeding, esophageal narrowing or Barrett's esophagus (a precancerous condition).

How to make Avocado oil

Today we will discuss on how to make Avocado oil.

Ingredients:
Only ripe pear.

Procedure

Step1
Cut from the middle and remove the avocado seed in the center.

Step2
Peel off the avocado skin, put in a bowl smash smoothly or blend it,

Step3
After smashing or blending it, pour in a round plate or tray, spread it well on the tray.

Step4
Sundry it for 3 days or use oven In a very low heat,

Step5
After drying it, scrape it from the tray and put it in a sieve net and squeeze out all the oil.

Step6
After squeezing out the oil, sieve the oil for some times to avoid any dirty particles

POS THEFT

It's no longer news that Yahoo boys and their likes equip their girlfriends with POS machines in order to pick customers card details.
They do this by either snapping your card or through the use of an inbuilt chip in the POS machine.

Some POS machines has a chip inbuilt which records every transactions and details of every card used to make withdrawal.
What these bad boys do is to extract that chip, run it through a software and boom you wake up one morning to see that all your money has been withdrawn, usually they transfer the monies into a betting account which will make it difficult to trace.

Cry from now till tomorrow your money will never return however they're some precautionary measures you can take to avert such incidence.

Every card has a 16 digit number in front, use paper tape to cover the numbers leaving only the first four as seen in picture A, this way they can't snap your card details.

Alternatively, ensure that you cancel your transaction each time by pressing on the red button as indicated in picture B.
If you're given the machine to input you pin, hold it till the transaction is successful then press the red button yourself before removing your card or ask the attendant to do it for you.
Pressing the cancel button will erase your data from the machine.

SIDE EFFECTS OF

👌 LET TALK ON SOME SIDE EFFECTS OF FIBROID SURGERY, that is to say what happen during and after your surgery.

👌There are always complications during surgery and especially after surgery which you might not be aware of. The most painful after surgery complications is that the fibriod always regrow again.😞😞
👌 If you are going in for surgery for uterine fibroid it's always good to choose a myomectomy instead of a hysterectomy because of this reasons:

🔶You plan to bear children

🔶Your doctor suspects uterine fibroids might be interfering with your fertility

🔶You want to keep your uterus

Myomectomy has a low complication rate. Still, the procedure poses a unique set of challenges. Some side effects include;

👉EXCESSIVE BLOOD LOSS. Many women with uterine leiomyomas already have low blood counts (anemia) due to heavy menstrual bleeding, so they're at a higher risk of problems due to blood loss. Your doctor may suggest ways to build up your blood count before surgery.

During myomectomy, surgeons take extra steps to avoid excessive bleeding. These may include blocking flow from the uterine arteries by using tourniquets and clamps and injecting medications around fibroids to cause blood vessels to clamp down. However, most steps don't reduce the risk of needing a transfusion.

👉 . Incisions into the uterus to remove fibroids can lead to adhesions — bands of scar tissue that may develop after surgery. Laparoscopic myomectomy may result in fewer adhesions than abdominal myomectomy (laparotomy).

👉 OR . A myomectomy can increase certain risks during delivery if you become pregnant. If your surgeon had to make a deep incision in your uterine wall, the doctor who manages your subsequent pregnancy may recommend cesarean delivery (C-section) to avoid rupture of the uterus during labor, a very rare complication of pregnancy. Fibroids themselves are also associated with pregnancy complications.

🤹 SIDE EFFECT OF . Rarely, the surgeon must remove the uterus if bleeding is uncontrollable or other abnormalities are found in addition to fibroids.
Rare chance of spreading a cancerous tumor. Rarely, a cancerous tumor can be mistaken for a fibroid. Taking out the tumor, especially if it's broken into little pieces (morcellation) to remove through a small incision, can lead to spread of the cancer. The risk of this happening increases after menopause and as women age.

When TV came to my house. I forgot how to read books. When the car came to my doorstep, I forgot how to walk. When I got the mobile in my hand, I forgot how to write letters. When computer came to my house, I forgot spellings When the AC came to my house, I stopped going under the tree for cool breeze. When I stayed in the city, I forgot the smell of mud. By dealing with banks and cards, I forgot the value of money. With the smell of perfume, I forgot the fragrance of fresh flowers. With the coming of fast food, I forgot to cook traditional cuisines. Always running around, I forgot how to stop. And lastly when I got whatsapp, I forgot how to talk.
When we die, our money remains in the bank.

Yet, when we are alive, we don't have enough money to spend.

In reality, when we are gone, there is still a lot of money not spent.

One business tycoon in China passed away. His widow, was left with $1.9 billion in the bank, and married his chauffeur.

The cruel reality is:
