How Often Should You Wash Your Scalp? 🤔
How often you wash your scalp, depends on a whole lot of factors. Clean scalp is very essential for healthy hair growth.
But, there are some things, you need to put into consideration.
Some say, wash weekly. But, what if the person's scalp produces very little sebum, and the person isn't heavy handed with products?
Sebum is the natural oil your scalp secretes, to help regulate the scalp, and also to nourish it.
Some say wash once a month; but, what if the person's scalp required them to wash often?
If you have scalp issue like dandruff or SD, washing your scalp often would do you good.
If you are heavy handed with applying oil on your scalp, then was as often as once a week or once in two weeks.
How often you wash, depends on your schedule and how heavy handed you are with products.
I'll say, you was as often as, once in two weeks. But, most importantly, stick with what works for you.

Benefits Of Protective Styles👩🦱
Protective Styles are ways in which we style our natural hair to prevent it from getting damaged.
wearing a protective style, has a lot of benefits, they are:
✨Protective Styles are great ways to retain hair length.
✨They help the hair stay stretched.
✨They enhance beauty.
✨They also promote hair growth.
As much as we always want the benefits of protective styles, we shouldn't forget to enjoy the process. 💕

First Hair After The Big Chop 💕
My little sis had a big chop, around last year November, 2021. And decided to start making her hair again.
She came to me and said, please can you make me that style from YouTube, the one they used needle and thread for corn rows.
I was a little skeptical, but I agreed. And guess what? The hair turned out great.
What do you think about the style?

✨Rocking my hair✨
During those times, when my hair growth was stagnant. Now I know a lot of things I was doing wrong, and that is, 'my combing/detangling method'.
I used small combs, and I barely spend enough time to detangle. I was always in a hurry, so I just detangle a little. then start combing.
I usually see that, I loose a lot of hair, every time I comb, but it never occured to me that, that was the reason it appeared as though my hair wasn't growing. my hair was always breaking.
This are the steps I use now, when I comb/detangle my hair.
⚡I divide my hair into about 6 sections, and make into a twist.
⚡I Untwist 1 section, spray some water, apply oil and conditioner.
⚡I Finger detangle thoroughly.
⚡I Comb with a wide tooth comb, starting from the tip, then work my way up to the root.
⚡Finally, I plait it with wool, to keep it detangled, also to stretch it. I repeat same process for the rest of the twists.
If you find my tips helpful, please like my page and follow. I'll be posting helpful tips like this, don't miss out. 😘
Comment with how you comb your hair, I'll like to try other methods.
Thanks

My Natural Hair Story ✨💯
************************
My natural hair journey has been quite challenging, after the first two years of significant growth, it became like my hair wasn't growing anymore it was aways within 6 to 7 inches.
After about one year plus of stagnant hair growth, I decided last year August, 2021. That if by December of same year, I didn't see any significant growth, I'll go back to low cut.
I made some research, bought "Hair Wonder" Shampoo, conditioner and oil. I made a hair care routine, and made up my mind to be consistent.
From my research, I discovered that my hair was always growing but what I lacked was hair retention. As my hair grew it was constantly damaged due to lack of good hair care routine.
I was consistent with my plans. As I went on, I discovered ways to reduce hair breakage from washing and combing my hair, and a lot of helpful tips and treatments which I'll be sharing with you as we go on.
By January, 2022. my hair has grown from 7 INCHES TO 10 INCHES. Wow! I was strengthen to go on. Although I've not achieved my hair goals yet, I'm still working toward it. But I'll like to share my progress and discoveries with you as I go on.
Please LIKE my page to join me on this journey, as I'll be regularly posting tips on how to take care of natural hair.
