TOPIC : BROW TIPS.

1. Your brows must suit you if they don’t get them shaped by a professional.
2. Trim any extra-long hairs on your brows, but ideally, this would be done by your brow expert.
3. Always check brows from the side – use a second mirror to see your profile view.
4. Match your brow pencil to your brow hair colour, not your desired hair colour, as the difference would be too obvious.
5. If you lighten your hair colour on your head, then consider lightening your brows.
6. Buy brow mascaras. They are great for temporarily lightening or darkening the brow, as they have a gel formular which holds them into place.
7. Don’t wax your brows on the day of an important event, because wax removes a lighter layer of skin and makes it impossible for foundation and eye shadow to adhere

STEPS FOR YOUR SKIN PREP.

Are you using water -or Oil-based foundation and moisturizer? It is important to know this before commencing the skin prep;because you need an even canvas to work on. Check that all your products are either all water-based or all Oil-based, because an oil-based moisturizer won't mix with a water based foundation.That is the main reason why makeup won't last on your face.

STEP 1
Cleanse your skin with a pH-balanced product so that no film is left.

STEP 2
Use a toner to remove excess Oil and ensure that your toner doesn't leave a residue as it will affect your makeup.

STEP 3.
Moisturize or use a primer,but remember, you don't need both because if you pile on two or three layers of cream, your makeup will slide.

Note : In a situation where there is no toner; wipe your face with perfume -free baby wipes.Don't use glamorous cosmetic makeup wipes as they are designed to remove your makeup and they leave a creamy removal residue. This is just like putting nail polish over nail polish remover - your makeup won't blend over your skin.
