I’m working on a Capri Pant, also known as a Crop Pant, and I want to use this opportunity to remind upcoming fashion designers of something important.

You cannot build confidence in fashion by rushing through the things you don’t understand.

Every measurement, every marking, and every pattern line is part of the learning process.

When you understand pattern drafting, you are not just making one garment. You are developing a skill that can help you create different styles and solve problems in your sewing.
