Anyone that uses this as an excuse “we speak English does that automatically mean we are from England” I consider the person to be the the dumbest person in the world.

This is the first IIC meeting held in one of the major Ikwerre communities. For certain reasons, I will not mention the name of the community, but the reality will shock many of you revisionists in Ikwerre land.

You can claim not to be Igbo, but that is a matter between you and your family, not something you can impose on the entire Ikwerre people.

Let me say this, the Ikwerre people are not the only Igbo people in Rivers State. We have several communities of Igbo extraction in Rivers State, including Ogba, Egbema, Ndoki, Opobo, Ndoni, Ekpeye, Asa, Ikwerre and others. These groups are represented within the Indigenous Igbo Congress (IIC).

His Excellency, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, takes a walk through his hometown, Opobo, as he joins family, friends, and well-wishers for the Thanksgiving Service of Senator Adawari Pepple.

The Governor was accompanied by former Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Engr. Tele Ikuru; former Minister of Sports and former Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo; Hon. Theodore Georgewill; Hon. Tamunosisi G. Jaja; Chief Hanny Woko; and Amasenibo Fubara Hart.

It is also notable to see the Governor and his people interacting and communicating in the Igbo language.

Let this be clear: Opobo people are Igbo, just as the people of Ilorin are Yoruba. No amount of denial or argument can change nor erase this historical identity.

Is Kwara people Yoruba or Fulani? I need an honest answer from the Yorubas.

Identity is something you can never fake. I’ve always been proudly Igbo and never denied it. So, if I’m not Igbo, what would I have been? 😂

BREAKING!

Saudi Arabian government has beheaded over 7800 Y0ruba-Nigerian drug traffickers.

This was as at 2015.

Imagine how many Y0rubas have been executed in Saudi Arabia between 2015 and 2026

But why can't the Y0rubas stop trafficking drugs into Saudi Arabia, knowing the dangers?

MCO

Me: This is so terrifying...

Another day to remind you all that No Igbo group or individual from the South East propelled us into this mission.

I am a proud Igbo man from Okrika, Rivers State, South-South Nigeria, and a bona fide member of IIC Rivers State. I am driven by passion to promote Igbo unity, embrace my identity, and help others rediscover theirs.

I pray no body cries on the comment section.

Happy Sunday❤️

Okrika people, why are we like this...?

Let me just take it as a solidarity walk for the Local Government Chairman. I don’t want to say what’s really on my mind.

They said I can't speak Igbo. But they lied. I speak Igbo 80 percent and kirike 20 percent, English 50 percent.

Ijaw is the oldest tribe and it's language is 7000years older than all Nigerian languages🤔🙄
