Ekpeye Youth Congress Women Leader launches a project "Empower Ugbede Ekpeye; one Ugbede Ekpeye at a time"

~ Ugbede Ekpeye makes plans for "International Girl Child day"celebration in Ekpeye.

On Sunday 27th of July, 2025 Ugbede Ekpeye (Maidens of Ekpeye Land) gathered at Okogbe community in Igbu Igbudaya kingdom, Ahoada West LGA and Issues affecting Ugbede Ekpeye such as bride price reduction in some part of Ekpeye ethnic nationality was exhaustively deliberated.

During the meeting,Snr comr Favour Ekpeye ( EYC Women leader) launched the "Empower an Ugbede Ekpeye" a project to train Ugbede Ekpeye via skills and support them to establish themselves. Also, the maidens continued with their discussions on the planned "International Girl Child hild Day" celebration in Ekpeye Ethnic Nation.

The meeting which had good turn up of members, including Igbudaya elites and Stakeholders who graced the occasion with their presence. Snr Comr Chiemele Wilfred, EYC Secretary-General, Hon Elijah Lucky Okapi (Chief of Staff Ahoada West), Mr Felix O felix,AKA, High chief Ogbodor, the EYC Asst Women leader Comr Uchechi Levi, among other dignitaries.

In the same vein, I like to specially appreciate all those who supported the event in one way or the other, Especially Mr Felix O felix, Igbuduya Youth President, Comr Hezekiah Louis, Comr Chiemele Wilfred, Snr Comr Randy Chimaji Charles(Elders Forum Chairman of Igbuduya Youths)High Chief Faith Solomon,(Orlu Igbuduya) and host of others.
