JUSTICE FOR COMFORT EMMANSON: THIS MUST END!

Section 34(1) of our Constitution says: No person shall be subjected to torture or to inhuman or degrading treatment.

Yet Ms. Comfort was stripped in public; assaulted, humiliated, and filmed. That’s a crime under Criminal Code 351–353 and Cybercrimes Act 24.

But she is in detention. How?

If you have no issues with ethics, and if your bent is towards justice, you will understand that Commy's alleged offence doesn’t matter here anymore.

Dignity is a right, not a privilege; and it must be observed at all times.

The moment Ms. Comfort was stripped in public, this matter stopped being about an airline dispute between a service provider and a service user.

It became a clear violation of her constitutional rights.

1. Section 34(1) of the 1999 Constitution: “Every individual is entitled to respect for the dignity of his person, and accordingly: (a) no person shall be subjected to torture or to inhuman or degrading treatment.”

2. Criminal Code (Sections 351–353): Assault and indecent assault are criminal offences.

3. Cybercrimes Act (Section 24): Sharing indecent videos without consent is a crime.

Those individuals who recorded and shared the videos that have gone global, should all be in detention.

So, her alleged offence is irrelevant at this moment,; as evidenced in the subsequent events. Publicly tearing her clothes is assault, public indecency, and a breach of her fundamental rights.

The issue here is that, FAAN and Ibom Air officials and operatives failed to protect her dignity.

KwamOne was not stripped and carried off the runway/tarmac with his clothes ripped off.

KwamTwo was carried off the jet, with her clothes torn and her "adult content" video shared on the global stage.

And what do we have here?

Millions of Nigerians are celebrating the assault!!!
