I don't want this one, I want the type that people won't be able to tell from my clothes that I wear waist beads.
That's the reply I got when I sent some waist bead designs to a customer's DM. And I understand her quite well, visible lines of waist beads especially when you wear a dress that isn't free can be really embarrassing for someone.
But as a bead vendor who usually considers her customers' pain points when creating a design, trust my brand to have a perfect fit for her desire.
This design won't only adorn your waist but will also be concealed graciously under your dress.
If you wish to wear waist beads and don't like it showing traces from your dress, send us a DM now to shop from our Ayanfe design.

Running a business while staying true to my faith has been one of the most beautiful parts of my journey.
There are days when the journey feels overwhelming, but my belief reminds me to pray, and despair from the mercy of my lord through the process. Every step I take carries prayer and perseverance.
This is to every woman conscious of her deen and balancing life and dreams, know that your gentle effort is enough. You don't need to do what compromise your value before you can see results.
Whenever you feel frustrated remember, patience is not weakness. And the way you take every little step matters. Know that your lord will give you and you will be satisfied.

I took this picture that day without knowing it will later have a story to tell.
So, I have this first time customer from Facebook and after picking the two designs she wants, I proceeded to ask for the waist measurement and she sent one from her tailor.
And one of my own principles is to always add an extra inch to any measurements given to me to avoid issues with fitting. So I finish the beads and dispatch to her, but as Allah will have it.
After telling me that she has received her order the next complaint is that it's a bit tight for her and the worst is that her location is very far.
What saved the story is the fact that she was satisfied with the details of that one and she's willing to get some other ones. So, I have to make little little strands of those designs for her to attach to the former ones.
The reason I am telling this story is to lay emphasis on the importance of accurate measurement of your waist size in making waist beads, because it tells a lot about your accessories.
It determines how well they fit, how comfortable they feel, how beautiful they sit on the body and how durable your waist beads are.
👉 In short, accurate measurement is the foundation of a well-crafted waist bead, it makes the difference between an accessory that’s just pretty and one that’s truly personal, comfortable, and lasting.

Mondays seem to have a way of setting the tone for the week. That’s why it’s important to begin with softness, with grace, and with a reminder that you matter.
So, carry love for yourself in everything you do. Protect your energy and water yourself just like you water your goals.

I remember a day I was taking product photography outside my hostel in the compound back then in school.
That evening I sighted one of my neighbours, a female and I decided to advertise my products to her, after a series of reasons she doesn't like waistbeads she now adds a question.
She said Alhaja, do you also wear waist beads and she asked that with a downgrading tone. I now answered her yes and the next thing is who is going to see it me 👀? It was surprising but then I still tried to enlighten her.
That for the fact that I dress modestly doesn't mean I don't adorn my body, and being a married woman even makes it more encouraging to prioritise selfcare in which wearing beads is part of. Her last remark was that 'Alhaja sef dey wear waist beads ' in amazement.
But her own reaction doesn't stop me from advertising to people around me. I showed my work to another neighbour the other day and this person doesn't only get beads for herself, two other people with her that day get beads for themselves as well. She even became a returning customer before I left the area, Alhamdulillah.
That's my reward for not letting one person's negative reaction impact my journey .
What I don't understand is why some people think if you're wearing jilbab, you can't be fashion conscious. Do they think we always dress shabbily because we are covered up or what else are they emphasizing?
To you my dear Muslimahs don't prove their assumptions right, always dress well and adorn your accessories but try to conceal them .
Have you ever been in a situation where someone thinks you can't be fashionable because of your dressing, drop your thoughts in the comment section.

Many people wear waist beads for the aesthetic or by pear pressure but what they don't know is that waist beads are one of the ways to practice self care.
If you wear beads for any of the reasons above drop a heart 💜 in the comment box.

I don't just run a business, I run a brand that is deeply guided by faith .
When I first started Rya Exclusive, I thought it would be hard to run a brand without compromising my values. But as time passed, I know that what truly sustains me is the quiet belief that my provision comes from Allah alone, and my own role is to put efforts in the work with sincerity.
I craft every design to reflect integrity and with a self decision that I must give my customers the best quality, even when no one is watching. It’s my own act of service, to adorn women beautifully while ensuring satisfaction and accessibility.
On the days when I only hope, I always remind myself that my Rizq is written, and to trust the timing of my lord. On busy days, I make sure to be grateful and stay humble.
I run a faceless brand because I believe that as a muslimah that I am, I don't need to display myself before I can reach my goal. Although it's not always easy, but I'm building my success steadily with tawakkul.
My faith has taught me not to jump on any trends that can smear my values or even morality in all sense of it.
Running a business is a journey with highs and lows, days of Maasha Allah and days with plenty of insha'Allah but with my faith guiding me, I know that every step of the journey will be worth it.
As a believer, let your faith reflect in your dealings. Be sincere and always radiate goodness.
I’d love to hear from you, how has your faith impacted the build your dreams?

After losing that order to the driver, content creation felt like something I have never done before.
Sometimes I had ideas, but I kept them away deep in my head, they never get posted and some ideas makes their way to this place after a lot of overthinking.
Most times I watched others post confidently while I look on, doubting my voice.
One day, I came across the first edition of Tell to Thrive course.
Something in me whispered, This could be my chance to learn and finally start showing up again but registration already closed. But not too long I saw the opening for the second edition of TTT.
But then, I still wondered if this could really change much for me?
I decided to sign up still. From the very first module, I realised this wasn’t just about posting content. It was about learning to create with clarity, connect with my audience, and embrace my unique voice.
Now, I create with more confidence.
I know how to structure my ideas, write captions that connect, and show up intentionally without feeling like I have to be perfect.
The fear hasn’t vanished completely, but it no longer have much effect .
Today, I’m showing up, not just for those watching me, but for myself. I'm building a brand that reflects my heart, and I intend to proof that growth starts the moment you decide to pick up your pieces.
And If Tell to Thrive could help me re embrace myself, I believe it can help anyone ready to tell their story.
Drop a 💛 if this inspire you to dust yourself up.

The moment was supposed to be all win but one of my most painful lesson was learned
While preparing for the 2024 Ileya, I posted some new designs for my people to recreate and the turnup was great. I was so excited and it felt like my hard work for Rya Exclusive was paying off.
Among the orders was one combo order meant for a brother turn customer in Lagos. And since I was also traveling to Lagos, I decided to send it through the bus I boarded at Ibadan terminal. When we arrived at Berger, I handed the package to the driver to help me deliver to Mile 2 and we bargain price.
But later that evening, I got a call from the him, saying they had not received the package and hadn't heard from the driver either. I can't even explain how I felt. Then I realized I had made a terrible mistake: I never collected the driver’s personal number, only the one I had written on the package.
We traced it back to the park and the driver was called but denied it. And just like that, the goods were gone.
The guilt of disappointing that customer overshadowed every other successful delivery that season. I couldn’t even share the wins nor post the normal way I usually do because all I could think about was how this person will feel seeing my post. It ruined my confidence to some extent.
It’s been hard to move past it, because the goods is still with me till date, literally he wants to forfeit but I don't want to hold on to it either. But this experience taught me a painful yet important lesson: in business, joy and setbacks often walk hand in hand, but preparation and careful processes can protect your wins.
Now, I make sure every delivery has clear tracking, and follow up. Mistakes can happen, but they can also be turning points that shape you into a better business owner.
If you find this story relatable share a remarkable turning point in your journey, it could be a win or loss

I never thought something like this could be rampant until the experience I had over the weekend which change my perspective entirely.
So over the weekend I run a lead generation for my brand exclusive but few encounters that I experienced with some prospects left me amazed.
Like how will you feel when someone asked, if the waistbeads I advertised are fortified ehn or they want a type which if they use man will never say no to their requests, Like I shock.
Immediately I see such questions en, I instantly educate them that my product is only for beautification and also to help women embrace their femininity halaliticaly if such word exist 😒.
What I learned from the experience is that people are trying to keep their home but some effort are not just healthy. So, we should rather strive to nurture our relationship in a healthy way. Because prioritising self care, and maintaining good mannerism keep a man than any kayamata beads would.
All in all, let's fear Allah in our dealings .
