A letter to myself.
I don't usually wish myself anything, but today I'd like to wish myself a happy birthday. I've reached the age where I realize that nothing is more important than self-love. And to myself, I'm so proud of how far you've come in your life. It may appear small to others, but not to me. I had to climb mountain after mountain to get to where I am today; I'm not saying there aren't any more mountains ahead of me, but with all the mountains I've climbed before, I know I can make it to another summit of mountains ahead. Enjoy the journey, and even more so the process. I understand that there will be times when you feel as if you don't belong anywhere, but don't let that stop you.
You don't need someone else's approval to feel important. Learn to be there for yourself. And for that, you deserve a lovely wish from yourself!

More than half have stopped reading. Someone may have already gone to the next post in their newsfeed.
I have decided to publish this post in support of close family, friends and relatives who have fought this horrible disease.
Now I'm focusing on those who take the time to read this post to the end ... a little test, just to see who reads and who shares without reading.
Cancer is a very aggressive and destructive enemy of our bodies.
Even after treatment, the body is devastated. It's a very long process.
