BREAKING: Last night, bandits stormed Beli community in Rogo LGA, Kano State, abducting Alhaji Abdullahi Fanka Beli, the APC chairman of Rogo LGA.

Several residents were also injured during the attack as the gunmen moved through the community.

How many more communities must be attacked, residents injured and people abducted before stronger security measures are put in place?

SAD NEWS: This morning, an IED reportedly planted by bandits exploded on the Gurusu–Gwashi road in Bukkuyum LGA, Zamfara State, killing a young man, Mujahid M. Sani, and a woman.

It is heartbreaking. Two people simply trying to use the road lost their lives in such a horrific way. Sadly, this is becoming the reality for many people living in rural communities, where roads are increasingly becoming death traps.

May his soul rest in peace 🕊️🕊️💔
