Let me tell you something about choosing perfumes that I think a lot of people get wrong.

Just because a perfume smells good on your friend or someone else doesn't mean you will like it on yourself.

And just because everybody is shouting this perfume is very strong, It lasts all day, doesn't mean that's the perfume for you.

See ehn… perfume is like a dress.

Follow me, let me explain.

If you see someone wearing a really beautiful dress and you love it, do you just go and buy the same dress immediately?

Of course not.

You’ll probably start asking questions.

What size is it?

Will it fit me?

Will it look good on my body?

Where can I wear it to?

Is it something I can actually move around comfortably in?

You won't just say, This dress is fine and buy it because it looks good on somebody else.

Abi I lie? 😂

So, the same thing applies to perfume.

Before you buy a perfume because someone said it smells so good, you need to ask yourself a few questions.

Do I even like this type of scent?

Do I want something strong or something mild?

Where am I going to wear it?

Is it for everyday use?

Is it for work?

Is it for when I'm going out?

Because the fact that something works for someone else doesn't automatically mean it will work for you.

Just like that fine dress, the perfume has to fit you too.
