Hello everyone, If you are seeing my post for the first time my name is Grace and I am a skincare Enthusiast willing to share my knowledge on skincare (totally free) here on this group.

Today's topic is "How to tell if you are using bad skincare products"

There are so many skincare products available to buy and more keep coming to join the plenty already existing (Everywhere you turn someone is advertising one miracle cream that promises to solve all your skincare problems).

Now it's easy to think that with all the products existing, finding a good product would not be difficult. After all, there are several great reviews on all these new miracle products coming out daily. Here are 2 things to remember before you buy a product recommended to you by anyone.
1. Your skin and the person's skin is different
2. Those reviews might be fake.

But that's a topic for another day.

Here are some ways to tell if the product you are using is bad for your skin

What does a bad skincare mean?
1. Your skin is more oily than usual after using a new product

2. Your skin is red and irritated after using an acne treatment

3. You develop any sudden pigmentation(colour) changes

4. You get a rash from the product or blisters start to form where you applied it

5. You experience excessive dryness, flaking, and peeling

6. You notice a slight burning or stinging when using a product you’ve used before

7. Intense burning or stinging when using a product for the first time

8. You develop generalized itching all over your body

If you experience all or any of these after using a product then disconnect immediately to save your skin from further damage. To totally avoid this patch test your products before using it.
