In a typical battlefield, the kind of enemy being fought againt determines the type of weapon to be used.

Eph 6:12 describes the kind of enemy we fight as a Christian. This enemy has a particular kind of attack he launches at Christians which is why the Bible says to not be ignorant of the devil's devices 2 Cor 2: 11.

Prayer is one of the weapons as stated here but there are other spiritual weapons in the artillery of a Christian.

The Great High Priest.

He makes intercession for the saints. Hebrews 7:25
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Intercession is a positive word used to describe how a person sacrifices something he/she owns to ensure the success of a person, event.
Jesus not only sacrificed his life on the cross, at the moment he is currently interceding for humanity, on the right hand of God, making prayers unto God so that all may be saved. Jesus didn't say, ‘I have done my best by dying on the cross for them’

How intercession is being made.

1. By leading us not into temptation and delivering us from evil. Luke 11:4. Evil are things orchestrated because of the wickedness in the kingdom of darkness. Meaning, a man dont have to do something bad before the kingdom of darkness does evil to a man. In this light, he intercedes so that nothing shall by any means hurt you and even when situations like that of Job occurs to you, he gives you succor so that you can come out as an overcomer.

2. By showing us the plans of the wicked ones and showing us the mind of God. God does not show us dreams and visions for entertainment purpose or for you to brag about it on social media or to your friends. Gen 18:17. The purpose of his dreams and vision is for you to extend the arm of his intercessory ministry to the earth

The resurrection and the life.

This talks about Jesus in two capacities. The consequences of Adam's sin was death. And remember it's only a previously alive person that dies.

This means that, man was previously alive before the judgement came.
Jesus coming to die on the cross is to conquer death on behalf of man and this can only be done by quickening (as used by the scriptures) dead man and giving the resurrected man life sustaining pills.

It's more like giving a hungry man fish to eat (resurrection) and teaching him how to catch fish (life).

As a Christian, your Christian journey starts from the day you said "I do" to Jesus. You need "life" to be sustained in the Christian race.

One reason why Christians backslide is because though they were resurrected from the dead, they lost contact with life. Once you stop believing, you will lose contact with the life giving spirit and your spiritual life will begin to die, secret sins will resurrect from the dead and the person in question will begin to die till they end up in hell.

If you are finding traces of backsliding in you, you need life, your spirit man is faint and dying.

Prayer :
Father, reconnect me back to your life giving spirit.

Resurrect my spirit from the dead.

Influences of darkness, causing doubts to rise within me, be destroyed.

Sin has consequences to the spirit, soul and body.

The consequences of sin is what brings people to deliverance house, prayer cities. But can we continue in sin and expect grace to abound? It's like drinking poison and drinking the antidote..... thinking there will be neutralization..... The devil is wiser than that..... In fact, that idea of continuing in sin, and expecting grace to abound is his idea...

Flee from all appearances of evil so that you will have enough time building your relationship with God, and not running from one prayer city to another seeking solutions to the consequences of sin, breaking the yokes of the devil.....

God's mercy still delivers from sin's consequence..... The devil may not allow you come to the understanding of genuine repentance....

Bless the Lord oh my soul, and "forget" not all his benefits.

Circumstances can make a man forget the goodness of God.
Like the Israelites, they respond in situations as though they don't know God, as though God didn't do any miracles before them..... " _Was it not me who parted the red sea, why complaining because you don't have water to drink_ "

God who parted the red seas you encounter will surely give you water to drink, food to eat.

God is not like man that doesn't count cost before embarking on any project. You are a project, he has counted the cost before you were born.... He doesn't construct uncompleted buildings..... people who trusts in him will not end up as uncompleted project.... He has counted the cost don't worry..... Exhortation to someone

John 1:38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

What seek ye?

This question is to determine what attracts a follower to Jesus. A man can follow Jesus however seeks for fame and power.

You know what a man seek by his reaction at the mention of the name of what he/she seeks or at the manifestation of the thing he seeks.

In Acts 8:19, the sorcerer got excited at the manifestation of power, be so much desired power so as to reinstate his influence in the heart of the Samarians. He needed power to overthrow the Apostles.

A man can sacrifice anything to get what he seeks. However if a man seeks things after the flesh, he can offer things outside the government of God to get what he wants. The sorcerer wanted power to satisfy his flesh so he offered money.
A man can because of religious titles and fame offer bribes to the church leaders. He/she may not call it bribe. It might be called gifts or sowing seeds in order to gain recognition.

What seek ye

Others seek physical bread.
John 6:26.
This kind of persons will only attend church services where they are sharing cooked food or food items. Even if the pastor is obviously engaged in demonic enterprises, they don't care.

This is what keeps some people in perpetual poverty, as long as they see something to eat.

This action is sometimes not because the person cannot afford food but because of greed and covetousness.

A man who seeks other things aside God will stop following when he finds what he seeks. If he stops serving God because he has small money, it simply meant that the person's goal was money.

What seek ye?

There are people that determines what happens in your life, your reputation is a prime factor......just the way Joseph's destiny was decided by the baker......

Don't ruin your reputation. "God will forgive me".... You have ruined your reputation before the men you sinned against.....it will take God's mercy to gain favor in the sight of the subject person......

This message talks about marketing the kingdom of God

John 7:4 For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.

Spiritual principles.
Jesus being God in human form manifested some gifts and abilities. Even in his speech, he teaches as one with authority. Everything about Jesus on earth was unique that people could testify that it was out of ordinary.

His brethren in the verse above highlighted a spiritual principle. In context, it meant that Jesus should advertise his expertise.

The scriptures is such that, it's a compendium of wisdom nuggets and can be applied to specific facets of life when the need arise.
In considering the wisdom behind this verse, it talks about publicity, in other words, marketing.
Even though Jesus declined initially, he still went ahead to market/publicize the kingdom of his father.

One of the contextual reasons why Jesus declined was because the proposal to publicize himself came with "public acceptance" as a reward. Jesus Christ however set things straight that the "world will hate me"...... Public acceptance shouldn't be your motive in doing ministry.

If any business is to thrive in the space of men, there has to be an "awareness" program. Like an advertisement. In looking at the spiritual side of this principle, do you know that the devil is very intentional in propagating his kingdom values than we can imagine. The devil spends so much on his adverts...
Social media pages speaks volumes, celebrities dressing almost n@ked, lewdness is seen as an approved lifestyle.

The popular homose×u@l propaganda. He pioneers his demons in the form of "human rights activists", to spread the expertise of same se× marriage. Travelling from one continent to another to advertise it.
How many times as a Christian have you advertised the kingdom of God?
Do you seek platforms to showcase the mighty works of God, to spread his promises?

Digressing into the secular application of this principle. As a professional with a money making skill, how much marketing do you do?
The brethren said "show thyself to the world". Have you shown your skills to your neighbor or is it only your immediate family member that knows about it? You can cook well, does anyone know about it? How intentional are you in spreading the news about your business?

Marketing the kingdom of God requires utterance.

John 7:15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

One of the pearls handed down to man is time. Time is such a valuable asset that the devil wishes to steal from man.

A man who thinks he has time and choses to waste it has not yet discovered purpose. Like the popular saying that “when the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable”.

In order to steal a man’s time, he hides the purpose of time from the consciousness of that man.

The Bible talks about time and seasons Eccl 3: 1.
Time is an endless cycle of seasons in the sense that Time is eternal. Seasons are what we use to calculate how much time we have spent and how much time we have to spend.
Take for example, a 30 years old man has spent 30 Decembers on earth and he probably has like 60 – 70 more Decembers more to spend.
When the bible says “cast not your pearls before the swine”, in the context of time, it means that do not waste your time.

The devil manipulates the systems of the world, filling it with activities that steals a man’s time. From spending 3 hours plus watching Tiktok videos to spending 5 Hours on movies per day.

A man who waste his time will miss the benefits of certain seasons of his life. If during the 20 – 30 Years of your life, you spend 5 Hours plus on Tiktok videos daily, how will you achieve the purpose of that season.

In life, one season is a prerequisite of another season. If you miss the purpose of 20 – 30 Years season, there’s every possibility that your 30 – 50 years will be full of struggles. Not because God is cruel but you should have spent your early years building capacity for what is to come in the later years of life.

One major reason why people suffer at old age is because they did not understand the reason for every season. So they waste time.

Do you waste time or you spend time? In short, what do you spend your time buying? Do you buy fun at the club with your time?
Daniel 9:2 Says Daniel understood by books….

Understanding would not have come if Daniel did not spend time with books. However, he spent time with the books inline with his purpose.

You can’t just be reading any book, watching any show, attending just any event. You need to spend time with activities in line with your purpose. Any spending not inline with a man’s purpose on earth is considered a waste.
