In a remarkable display of royal honor and national unity, His Majesty, Ògíamẹ̀ Atuwatsé III, CFR, the Olu of Warri, appeared in majestic splendor — warmly receiving Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, alongside His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, the Ooni of Ife.

Warri Kingdom witnessed more than a visit —
it witnessed history unfolding.
Today in the ancient and revered Kingdom of Warri, I had the distinct honor of joining Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, alongside esteemed dignitaries, to warmly receive Her Excellency, Oluremi Tinubu, CON, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on her historic homecoming visit.
The atmosphere was filled with pride, culture, and celebration as Her Excellency was bestowed with the distinguished chieftaincy title of Utukpa-Oritse — a recognition of her compassion, service, and unwavering commitment to humanity.
In my goodwill message, I emphasized how blessed our nation is to have a motherly figure whose heart beats for the less privileged and the vulnerable. Her leadership, humility, and dedication to uplifting lives remain worthy of emulation by all.

The Warri Kingdom marked a historic moment as His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, conferred the prestigious chieftaincy title Utukpa-Oritse of Warri Kingdom on Her Excellency, Oluremi Tinubu.
The investiture was a heartfelt homecoming, as the First Lady traces her maternal roots to the Itsekiri nation. She was also decorated with the Royal Order of Iwere (ROI) — the second-highest honour in Warri Kingdom, reserved for distinguished sons, daughters, and allies.
Dignitaries in attendance included Sheriff Oborevwori, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and Benjamin Ikenchukwu Keagborekuzi I, alongside other royal fathers and national leaders.
Warri Kingdom once again showcased its rich heritage, royal excellence, and enduring legacy — strengthening the bond between the First Lady and her ancestral home for unity, progress, and prosperity.
