I specialized in eyebrows for over 15 years. For a decade, I did microblading. Then I stopped.

Not because it does not work. But because I found something better.

Microblading uses a manual blade that cuts into the skin. Over time, strokes blur, pigment shifts, and the results become harder to predict.

This client actually texted me during her healing process because she was worried that her brows had faded too much and that she “lost” them.

But on the second slide, you can clearly see that the hair strokes are still there — they are just softer and lighter, which is completely normal during healing. She just expected them to be more visible at that stage.

This is exactly why I always take a less is more approach.

With hyperrealism brows, the healing process can be deceiving. What looks like fading or loss of detail is often just the skin healing and the pigment settling into its final result.

When she came in for her touch-up, we:
✨ added a few more strokes where needed
✨ extended and refined some of the existing hairs
✨ chose a slightly deeper pigment for better balance

And as you can see in the final result — we achieved soft, natural-looking brows with more definition, while still keeping that realistic hair-stroke effect.

I always give my clients time to see how their brows heal before making adjustments, because your perception often changes once everything fully settles.

That’s why the touch-up appointment is so important — it allows us to refine, adjust, and perfect the brows based on how they healed on your skin specifically.
