Treat your curls like royalty!

When it comes to sleeping with our curls without messing them up, it becomes really confusing for some of us.
This is why i decided to create a mini sleeping routine to help you all with this. π
Step 1: Taking care of your scalp is very important! I would say this is one of the most important things to achieve a healthy hair. You can do this by every night before sleeping massage your scalp for 5-10 minutes with your head upside down to stimulate hair growth. You can use several oils like vitamine E - oil, Amla, almond, rosmary ect.
Step 2: Tie your hair with a satin scrunchie or scarf on the top of your head like a pineapple. This is really life safer to protect your curls of messing up during the night.
Step 3: Put a satin cap on or sleep on a satin pillowcase. Satin helps to retain moisture in your hair.
AVOID: cotton pillowcases because they absorb all the moisture from your hair leaving it dry and brittle.
Step 4: The next morning your curls should be intact and defined. You can refresh your curls with some water or product. I personally prefer to refresh with some gel or mouse mixed with water.

- This is a method to deeply clean your hair from build-up. Build-up can clogge your hair follicles which may impede your to absorb nutrients and can impede hair growth, can make your hair brittle and greasy.
- You can clarify your hair with a sulfate shampoo/ cleanser
1x a month or whenever you feel your hair needs it.
- If you want to go natural you can use several natural ingredients that can help you to remove build-up. Ingredients like apple cider vinager or natural clays such as bentonite clay can help you remove build-up on a natural way.
