You know things are getting serious when you have a proper logo, what do you think šŸ¤”

03/08/2021

Which do you prefer and why?

These are a couple of the most commonly used 3D printer nozzles on the market and used in most machines too.

Personally we use the Mk8 nozzles as they offer more visibility when printing and are less likely to pick up small parts when printing small things like support material and detailed geometry.

There’s pros and cons to each design but we’d love to know what you guys want to see more of in the store when it goes live.

Beautiful parts coming together to make up the test kits of our hot end design.

We’re making a universal hot end kit that uses smooth barrel heat breaks which allow the user to quickly and safely swap between pre built hot ends which use different size nozzles.

We’re using the industry standard V6 hot end as the base of this kit but improved the ease of installation and quality of parts too.

We’re still testing and validating the parts at the moment but will be releasing kits to testers soon, if you use a V6 hot end on your machine and would like to help the cause, send us a DM.

Thanks for the support and patience so far, it’s a small operation at the moment.
We’re looking for partners and investment too so if you’re interested in supporting innovation in the 3D printing industry, we’d love to hear from you!

Stay tuned for more updates

Calling all Tinkerers!

We’re developing a V6 Hot-End using high quality components from AliExpress and looking for people to test them and provide feedback

We’re not ready to ship at the moment but want to create a group of testers and gain feedback before we order the parts to make our first batch

Get in touch if you use the V6 Hot-End system with your 3D printer and want to test one of these upgrade kits out.

It’s main features include,

- High precision bead-blasted aluminium hexagon heat sink
(Creates higher surface area for improved cooling properties)
- High precision aluminium V6 blocks x3
(Georgeous CNC machining)
- Smooth steel heatbreak x3
(For quick release ability)
- Set of 0.2/0.4/0.8mm Brass Mk8 Nozzles
(To provide a wide range of printing abilities)
- Both direct drive and Bowden compatible
(To provide adaptability for all printers)
- E3D V6 compatible
(Easy to swap out parts, modular system)

We can’t give these away for free but we want to hear how much people are willing to pay for this system
- Testing price?
- Retail price?

Gathering information about parts on the market is valuable and interesting

Offering options to you as well as the information about how they’re different is one of our goals

Here are a couple of the heater blocks we aim to provide, die cast alloy and machined aluminium

Compatible with the E3D V6 hot end

Here’s a look at a cross section of the all metal hot end were working on, version 1 at least anyway.

Based closely on the E3D V6 heat sink but we’re putting a twist on it with a smooth barrelled flanged heat break for optimum ease and consistency when changing nozzles

We also have some great ideas on an extra cooling feature for the heat sink, but you’ll have to wait until we have aluminium ones to play with
