Backyard Travel Family

I definitely have some pet peeves when travelling…

My biggest is when you stand in line in customs in that big long snake… great…

But then force you to stand behind each customs officer… and watch as your person doesn’t have the right visa… and you’re the last person to make it through customs as you’re just stuck there….

Does anyone know this situation? Does my head in!

But this luggage situation - honestly someone should be fired for this monstrosity

And it’s not like it’s a previous flight just left here… someone just unloaded luggage instead of letting it go around.. so we had to fight to get our bags, and check every pipe instead of waiting patiently until our bags came around

Honestly - the normal system works..

Carnage!

Our Travel Expert put together the perfect package of flights, accommodation and our Intrepid Travel tour. I was a little worried about the lack of control on a tour, but the trip had lots of time out built in, so you could do that viral thing on Instagram or try out that restaurant

We ticked off all the major spots and didn’t have to arrange any transport because our little bus took us practically everywhere.

So I spent more time hanging out with my family - along for ride - but actually ticking off all the must dos.

I almost said no to this tour - I had a bit of pride in planning everything so well.. I’m a travel blogger after all

But also... there’s no need for me to do absolutely everything all the time. I actually got to relax and just focus on making family memorial
