Māramatanga is platform for me to pursue my passion and share with the world my handcrafted creations in the pursuit to improve the quality of life.
A few years back, I developed a profound interest in holistic wellness; learning and exploring the connections between our mind, body and soul. Simultaneously, I discovered the applications of aroma-science through a managed use of natural essential oil. The discovery led me to experimenting and formulating a variety of craft blends for my home and family in replace of the off-the-shelf commercial
products. It wasn’t long until I found myself mastering my own special blend of essential oil recipes to treat and elevate many areas of our life (mind, body and soul), through their many uses from natural health care to natural beauty and spa, to home cleaning products. Thus came the birth of - “Māramatanga - It’s all about you.”
Māramatanga was conceptualized from the Maori word which represents enlightenment, clarity, understanding, insight, and significance. As I sat deeply contemplating in the interconnectedness of my burning passion to holistic wellness and how it relates to living in harmony with life (mind, body and soul), I uncovered my heart’s desire, the purpose which has led me to where I am today. I realized that we all interconnected, but unique in our own existence, and that we are all here with a life purpose. As my passionate enthusiasm continues to evolve, this platform allows me to set forth my quest and share with you my journey to give this passion a purpose.
