🚨 More isn’t always better.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is people increasing their Retatrutide dose too quickly because they think it’s “not working.”

But ask yourself…

Are you actually giving it a chance?

Are you consistently hitting your protein target? 🍗

Are you strength training 3–5 times a week? 🏋️‍♀️

Are you in a calorie deficit? 🥗

Are you sleeping 7–9 hours? 😴

Retatrutide is a tool, not the reason you lose body fat.

If you keep increasing the dose every week, you may increase the risk of side effects without giving the lower dose enough time to do its job.

The goal is to find the minimum amount that helps you stay consistent with the habits that actually drive long-term body recomposition.

I genuinely thought lifting heavy would make me bulky.

So I stuck to light weights and high reps because I wanted to look “toned.”

The truth?

Building noticeable muscle doesn’t happen overnight, especially for women.

Most women simply don’t have the hormone levels needed to accidentally become bulky.

What lifting heavier did give me was:

✅ A stronger body

✅ More muscle definition

✅ Better bone density

✅ Increased confidence

✅ A faster metabolism through building and maintaining lean muscle

The “toned” look isn’t created by lifting light weights.

It’s created by building muscle and reducing body fat over time.

Pairing lateral raises with front raises is a simple way to increase training volume and completely fatigue your delts.

Here’s why it works:

✅ Targets both the side and front delts

✅ Keeps the muscles under tension for longer

✅ Creates a huge metabolic stimulus and muscle pump

✅ Saves time by combining two exercises

Control every rep, minimise momentum, and train close to failure.

Remember, the pump doesn’t build muscle on its own, but training hard with good technique and progressively overloading over time does.
