It’s rarely the quickest fix.

β€œAccredited” gets thrown around a lot in this industry. Here is what it actually means when we say it.πŸ‘‡πŸ»

The Treatment Clinic is LA AIRE accredited.

LA AIRE is a New Zealand accreditation for cosmetic medicine clinics. To hold it, a clinic has to meet set standards around:

βœ“ Safety protocols and infection control
βœ“ Practitioners with the right qualifications, training and experience
βœ“ Ethical governance and accountability
βœ“ 24/7 access to medical oversight from an NZSCM accredited doctor
βœ“ Ongoing training and professional development

In plain terms, it means someone independent has looked at how this clinic runs. How it actually operates, on a normal Tuesday, when nobody is watching.

A clinic that takes safety seriously will answer all of it without hesitating.βœ…

This client came in with something she could not quite put a name to.πŸ‘‡πŸ»

Her lips had lost their shape over the years, and her chin sat back further than she wanted, which was making her whole jawline look softer than it is. Two separate things, both pulling the lower face out of balance.

So we treated both with dermal filler. A little definition back into the lips. A little support through the chin. Nothing that announces itself.

Side by side you can see it. In a room, you would just think she looked well.✨

That is what an assessment is for. If you have something you cannot quite name either, start with a consultation.

Dermal filler is a Class III medical device used to smooth facial wrinkles and folds, restore facial volume, and enhance the lips. Dermal filler has risks and benefits. Ask your doctor if dermal filler is right for you. Results vary. Consultation required.

If your skin looked worse after a treatment, you are not alone. πŸ‘‡πŸ»

Most post facial treatment breakouts fall into one of a few categories, and most of them settle. The distinction that matters is whether your skin is purging or reacting.πŸ‘€

Purging is congestion that was already forming coming to the surface faster. Reacting is new irritation, usually from doing too much too soon afterwards.

Knowing which one you are dealing with changes what you should do next.πŸ‘πŸ»

Swipe through for the most common reasons, and when it is worth getting your skin looked at.
