It’s not the technique that sets this apart. It’s who’s doing it, and why.
Before a full day of sessions, I take a few minutes to properly arrive in my own body, before I ask a client’s nervous system to feel safe enough to soften. Clients feel the difference immediately, even if they couldn’t explain why.
That’s most of the answer to why a session Nikki Stone | Face Up™ Method | Lymphatic & Myofascial | Buccal feels different. It was never really about technique alone.

Your jaw and your shoulders are having a conversation you can’t hear.
Fascia runs largely uninterrupted from your jaw through your neck and into your shoulders. A jaw that clenches through a stressful week pulls on the neck. A tight neck pulls on the muscles of the face. By the time it shows up as facial tightness, it’s often been travelling for a while.
That’s why myofascial release matters, and why a genuinely holistic facial can’t stop at the jawline. The neck and shoulders are often where the tension is actually living.

Can you still do Face Up if you’ve had Botox? I get asked this constantly.
Yes! The two can work alongside each other. Timing is what matters: I generally see clients a couple of weeks after their injections, once everything’s settled, not straight after.
What surprises people is Face Up can actually help in that window, lymphatic drainage supports your body in moving along any fluid that’s built up around the injection sites. Worth mentioning to your injector too, so everyone’s on the same page.

The first thing that changes is never what people expect.
Most women expect to notice their face first. What they usually notice first is their breathing, the exhale gets longer, the hands unclench, the forehead finally has nothing left to do.
The visible changes come after that. A jaw that sits looser. Eyes that look less pulled-at. That’s the whole reason this work holds in a way surface treatments don’t. You’re giving the nervous system somewhere to land, and the face follows.

One product I reach for before I’ve even had coffee.
The Embodyme oils are non-negotiable in my own routine. I use them in treatments constantly, but the home ritual is what I love. A few unhurried minutes, working it in properly.
That’s the part people miss with skincare, the product matters, but so does the two minutes you actually give it. Small, repeatable nervous system regulation, no appointment needed.

What actually makes one Face Up session different from another?
I trained directly under , the founder of the Face Up Method, not through a course recording, and I've done advanced training since. But honestly, that's only half of it. The rest is what happens in the room, following what your body's actually holding that day, not a fixed sequence.
If you've been to me before, you'll know what I mean. Share your experience with me below x

Everyone wants their glow back the second spring hits. Here's what actually brings it.
Most of what people reach for first- a new serum, a stronger exfoliant - isn't where the glow comes from. Glow is circulation. Fluid moving properly, tension releasing out of the jaw and neck, blood actually reaching the surface instead of a face that's been braced all winter.
That's what lymphatic drainage and fascia work do in a session, and what a simple home ritual supports between visits - a few minutes with a lymphatic brush, real hydration, movement. None of it instant. All of it real.

Spring's my favourite season in this work.
Winter asks a lot of the body, less light, more indoors, shoulders creeping up without you noticing. Then spring turns up, and I watch people actually start to let it go.
It's not a rush to fix anything before summer. It's simpler, the body's had a season of holding, and it's ready to soften. That's what this month's content is about: what spring genuinely asks of you, and what actually helps.
