Hi there, saw this today and thought it was too good not to share ❤
A young couple moved into a new house. The next morning while they were eating breakfast, the young woman saw her neighbor hanging the washing outside.
"That laundry is not very clean; she doesn’t know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better soap powder. Her husband looked on, remaining silent.
Every time her neighbor hung her washing out to dry, the young woman made the same comments.
A month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband, "Look, she’s finally learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this?"
The husband replied, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows."
And so it is with life… What we see when watching others depends on the clarity of the window through which we look.
So don’t be too quick to judge others, especially if your perspective of life is clouded by anger, jealousy, negativity or unfulfilled desires.

By making them worry about missing out. How do you get them to buy a new smartphone? By making them feel like they are being left behind. To be calm becomes a kind of revolutionary act. This awesome tip comes from a recent VIP client who’s celebrating how she's now able to wear her wedding dress — from 18 years (and three children) ago.💃🏼
Big yay for her, right!!!
Her response surprised me when I asked what it was that made the difference in her weight loss journey.
It was...."commitment to tiddler steps".
I know right, it seems too simple!!
But it makes sense.
We can accomplish anything, no matter how big, if we break the journey into small enough steps.
She was wise and used this principle specifically around exercise.
SIDE NOTE: I recommend that clients move their bodies for 30 minutes a day, doing something they love.
Not for weight loss, but because being sedentary is very unhealthy.
Our bodies are designed to move, and sitting at work, on the sofa, in the car is less than ideal.
But she "hated all forms of exercise".🤦🏼♀️
So, she took tiddler steps.
She started by walking around the block every day.🚶🏼♀️
Sure, it was only 5 minutes, but here's the thing….
Before long, she was enjoying the gentle stroll in the fresh air, admiring neighbour's gardens, feeling proud.
She reckoned, "getting out past the letterbox was the hardest bit".
Before long, she was looking forwards to her short daily walk.
By making the goal tiny, she dealt with that fearful, critical, self-sabotaging voice in her head.
You know the one.
That inner mean voice that wants to achieve everything, like, yesterday!
The way to outsmart that voice is to take tiddler steps.
The beautiful thing is even tiddler steps add up to radical change over time.
Ironically, that's precisely why the inner mean voice doesn't want you to take small steps.
Because it knows you will create change!!!
So over to you, lovely.

What one small thing can you do today that would move you closer towards your happy shape and size?
Is it a five-minute walk at lunchtime?
Maybe drinking more water?
Perhaps adding more veggies to your plate?
Often, the slightest tweak creates flow, so you gather momentum.
Get clear on your next small step, and go do it now.💚
Wow! This resonated with me so much! No matter what age, what's in front is much more important than what's left behind. Yes, we can learn our valuable lessons from the past but lets look forward to 2022!
