Happy New Year everyone ✨

I just wanted to pop on and say a huge thank you for all the support I received in 2025.

I truly appreciate every message, booking, recommendation, and kind word. I hope 2026 is a fabulous year for you all.

I haven’t shared much over the past year as life and work have been wonderfully busy. We also welcomed grandbaby number 6, and anyone who knows me knows that family is everything to me.

Although I’ve been a bit quieter online, I’m still here doing what I love and will be available for makeup again this year when other commitments allow.

Last year I had many messages from women—particularly those of us in our 50s—asking what makeup really works as we navigate the changes that come with ageing skin.

With so many products on the market, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.

From a makeup artist’s perspective, my biggest advice is to focus on skin first: cleanse well, hydrate properly, and nourish your skin from the inside out. As we age, less truly is more.

Enhancing rather than masking makes all the difference.

Sometimes all you need is a great pop of lipstick and a little mascara.

I personally love Jane Iredale products as they’re kind, flattering, and work beautifully on mature skin.

For those wanting a more polished, long-wearing finish, Estée Lauder Double Wear is still a standout.

Here’s to all that 2026 has to offer—and as always, don’t forget to remove your makeup before bed 😅💄

On Saturday night, I had the joy of doing my only daughter's makeup for the Te Awamutu College ball.

What fun it was after waiting for 16 years for this momentous occasion.

Here is Kayla with her twin brother Tory. My hubby couldn't join us as he's back home to Texas for a special visit with his family.
