Firstly, I want to apologise for being a little quiet lately and for the lack of posts and engagement.

Although I mahi outside of Kanohi Ataahua, I haven’t been able to give this business the 100% it deserves. After a lot of thought, I wanted to be open and let you all know what’s been happening.

For those who don’t know, I have Stage 4 endometriosis. I’ve lived with it for a long time, but unfortunately it has progressed to the point where it’s affecting my day-to-day life. I’m currently awaiting surgery and focusing on my health so I can recover and come back stronger.

Because of this, lash appointments will be on hold for now. This isn’t because I don’t love doing lashes. I truly do. Right now, it’s simply impossible for me to sit for long periods without being in pain.

The good news is that I will still be offering brow services, and while I’m taking this time to heal, Kanohi Ataahua will also be introducing something I’ve been so excited to share…✨

This business has always been more than beauty to me. It’s about helping wāhine feel confident, beautiful, and seen. That mission isn’t changing. It’s simply evolving for this season.
