Our Monster Tray Special at Happy Hens Waihi continues today. All our trays have had their prices smashed but not for long. You can grab a mixed tray for $15, a tray of no 7s for $20 and the big eggs size 9 for $25.
Tessa is in the farm shop today and has gone crazy and slashed our zero sugar sauces too.
Percy the peacock is floating around the carpark looking fabulous and the chickens are ready to say hi.
Grab some gourmet popcorn, a frozen dinner and icecream and that’s your day sorted. Bring the kids to feed the chickens. It’s all going on here today.

Happy Friday night from the team here at Happy Hens Waihi.
Wow have we sold some trays today. Our monster special continues through the weekend providing our eggs last! If you don’t want to miss out you may want to get in quick☺️. Tessa is in the shop all weekend doing spot specials too so come in and say hi, she would love to see you.
We are opposite Waimata School and are open 7 days.
For those who missed it: Trays of mixed eggs are $15, trays of no 7s are $20 and trays of the monster XLs are $25. Bargains galore.

All trays heavily discounted for 3 days only. Stock up, bake with the kids, fill the freezer with goodies and go nuts. The chickens are feeling really happy with the spring weather and are producing beautifully.

We’ve had gorgeous warratah bunches of flowers arrive in our farm shop at Happy Hens Waihi. These are superb and last for ages in a vase.
Don’t forget about our cheese offcut range too. Great value for money and it means you can use your favourite cheese with abandon (we grate and freeze ours).
A new shipment of Liberty Growers greens are here. This range is just the very best. So fresh and crunchy. With the odd bit of warmer weather, salads are making more of an appearance ☺️.
Our eggs are beautifully fresh, huge in size and you can’t beat the free range flavour.
Pop in and see us, we would love a catch up.

We are already at Thursday! The good news is that we have a new shipment of cheese. Lots to choose from and the fact they are offcuts makes them very reasonably priced.

Happy Hens Waihi began with a shared dream amongst three siblings: to raise their children surrounded by farm animals and an old-fashioned way of life. This dream blossomed into a passion for ethical farming, where our hens roam free, stress-free, producing truly special eggs.

If you can’t get to us in Waihi, we are really pleased to offer our products online so check out our website. You can browse from the comfort of your home and we will get your goodies on the courier for you.
We have lots of beautiful products in our farm shop whether it be gourmet chutneys and preserves to macadamia brittle, popcorn and cheese.
We are open 7 days and are right opposite Waimata School. There’s heaps of parking and lots of chickens roaming around living their best lives.
At Happy Hens Waihi we love the end of the week. The weekend is upon us and we have lots of happy chickens to enjoy.
We’ve had a couple of quiet weeks and would really love our locals to come and support our little business that could.
Our hens are cranking out huge XL eggs with spring here. They are fresh and delicious so we are sharing the love with you with a tray special while stocks last. Bring the kids as there are some pretty baby chicks around plus now we have Percy the Peacock. He’s a little shy but is starting to show off to the chickens.
