Of course it's not only a risk to our export markets, but also risks loss of trust among the public here in Aotearoa New Zealand, and risks damage to our health and to the environment.

The NZAMH Committee met in person a couple of week's ago to review our strategy and set the workplan for 2025.

💥 Let's mobilise! 💥We need as many people as possible to make submissions to Food Standards Australia NZ (FSANZ) by 10 September.

👉 FSANZ is proposing to exempt gene editing so it's not regulated as GE! This would mean GE food ingredients would sneak into our food without us knowing. We say NO! We need robust regulation, safety assessments, labelling and consumer choice.
