It features Heni Pore who appeared as a character in Modern Girls in Bed. We were honoured to have her great grandson Jeff (interviewed in this programme) attend the show along with his husband, sister and niece.

Their names may not be very well known, but their work lives on.

The entire cast of Modern Girls in Bed were a stellar ensemble, but it's fitting that two of our most experienced performers are recognised for their skill and impressive mahi.

Arohanui to our dream team of designers, crew, cast and everyone who workshopped the show with us over the past three years. A shout out to all those women from history whose achievements have been celebrated and all those who still deserve recognition.

We're not sure what the future holds for the show but we know that self care is a radical act, so maybe it's time for a lavender oil bath, a coconut oil face mask or some time in bed with a pile of books. But you actually do you. 💜💚💜💚
