π‘ HONEST REFLECTIONS π‘
Feeling like we repeat the same patterns in life?
*Sharing from my own inner and outer journey over the years*
Gazing at the reflections of ourselves can be quite
- Confrontational
- Uncomfortable
- Off putting
- Sad
- Overwhelming
Yet it is necessary at times to take an honest look and review where you are now. Where you have been and where you want to go.
Gazing at the reflections of ourselves can also be
- Loving
- Surprising
- Inspiring
- Joyful
- Hopeful
How can we add or takeaway from our daily schedule, weekly schedule or year?
It could be, how do we talk to ourselves each day?
What old cycle or thinking or daily pattern or habit is keeping us in the same old same old?
"This always happens to me"
"I'm always getting the same issues!"
"I knew this would happen to me!"
Is this talk helpful? Confirming your "losses" the quitting, before trying again only to get the same old thing happen.
Do we use this thinking to avoid feeling too without changing anything?
Because we need to look deeper. Interfere with the cycle.
What could we do instead? Who could we see to help this change?
Many professionals out there to ask for support. Be curious. π§ Be patient. Feel. Reflection. Question. Be real. Be honest.
(Not professional advice. Just sharing from my own inner and outer journey in life)

The pose looks like rest.
That is why people underestimate it.
Viparita Karani β Legs-Up-the-Wall β is one of the simplest inversions to enter.
No balancing.
No pushing.
No performance.
You come close to the wall, lie down, and let the legs rise.
The wall supports the legs.
The floor supports the back.
The breath begins to soften.
But in Iyengar Yoga, Viparita Karani is not merely βresting with the legs up.β
It is a quiet introduction to the effect of inversion β when the body is supported enough for the eyes, throat, chest, breath, and mind to settle.
In the Senior Citizens Syllabus developed by Geetaji and used at RIMYI, inversions are taught gradually and systematically. Viparita Karani appears there in a supported form, with bent legs on a chair or box.
That tells us something important.
Inversion is not only for the strong, flexible, or advanced student.
Sometimes the most intelligent practice is not the one where you do more.
It is the one where the body stops struggling β and begins to receive.
For beginners:
Start simply. Legs up the wall. No bolster. Five minutes. Quiet breathing.
For experienced students:
Stay longer. Observe the eyes, throat, chest, breath, and mind.
The question is not:
βAm I doing enough?β
The question is:
βWhat changes when I stop doing so much?β
Practice under proper guidance, especially if you have medical concerns related to blood pressure, the neck, eyes, circulation, or recovery from illness or injury.
Have you practiced Viparita Karani before?
π¬ Comment LEGS UP if this is the pose your body needs today.

π APPRECIATION POST π
I'm feeling incredibly thankful and appreciative of all the bodies, hearts and souls who keep returning to me.
- Trusting in my offerings...
- Returning again and again...
- Booking numerous regular appointments ahead of time....
- Adding my business and offerings into your schedule....
ππ₯°ππ Not sure emojis fully express how I feel!!
π The books are filling up and it means having to push people out further and further away to have an appointment...
π Good for the business...not so good if you want earlier!
π§ Unless the odd cancellation comes up then it either opens space for my recovery and admin or space for another body, heart and soul to receive the treatment spot!
Thank you clients, friends, family and fellow practitioners. I appreciate you so much!!

Hello hello π
Have you ever used questions to help inspire your hope or desire for change?
Something I used to do for myself, has come back into my awareness.
So I felt like sharing this and wondered if anyone else does this or if not, are you going to give it a go?
Of course, like anything it isn't a one time thing.
I suggest you ask out loud with an exciting and wondering tone, almost convincing yourself that something wonderful will happen! π
Takes practice.
Guiding question to practice:
Is in the reel...
π Let me know, I'm interested!
