10 things I find annoying as a hairdresser
1 - “I want it exactly like the photo” but the photo has completely different hair.
😂
2 - Clients arriving late, with no notification 🙄
3- Box dye. Just… box dye. 😂
4 - Home jobs aka bleach 🤦♀️
And expect a miracle 🤣
5 - Clients moving their head while you're trying to create a perfectly straight section. 😅 Bro keep still!
6 - People saying “do whatever you want!”…then questioning every single thing you do. 😂
7 - Last-minute cancellations after you've turned clients away to keep their appointment available. 🙄 Hoha!
8 - Hair that has colour in it, and they say it's natural 🥴
9 - When someone says, “It’s just a trim.” Then pulls out a Pinterest photo showing a completely different haircut. 😭
10 - Trying to explain that colour correction is not a 2-hour appointment. 😂🤎

11. When the client says, “I don’t care what you do, I trust you!” — and then you absolutely nail it… and they say, “OMG I LOVE IT!” 🥹✨

Truth be told... I'm much better at doing hair than I am at social media. 🤭
I often forget to take before & after photos because I'm too busy being present with the person sitting in my chair. And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Just popping on to say I'm still here!
Life has been good, work has been keeping me busy, and to be honest, I've been spending a lot more time being present in real life than I have on social media. That's just who I am. While I love sharing little bits of my journey, you'll usually find me behind the chair with my beautiful clients, spending time with my whānau, or simply enjoying life as it comes.
Even when I'm a little quiet online, please know I'm still here, doing what I love every day.
