WOMAN CONCEIVES DAYS AFTER RECEIVING PRAYER! This past Sunday at 5F Church, Marisa shared her testimony of miraculously conceiving a baby in 2020. "Coming home doesn't always mean living"
In one photo, time seemed uninterrupted—a young uniformed soldier, staring steadily, his bride leaning against him in silent devotion. Their faces held the promise of a future that seemed right.
But after eleven months in captivity, the image shattered. He returned like a shadow of himself — thin, hollow, a body marked by suffering. The same woman used to hold on to him, but now she had no strength, only fragility.
He survived. However, surviving and living are not the same thing.
"There was no sky," he whispered. Just concrete floors, cold water scorching your skin, and nameless figures floating like ghosts. Nights counting not people, but shadows.
At home, war followed. The darkness shook him, sudden noises silenced him, and in the mirror he sometimes saw not the man he was—but the prisoner he had been.
She tried to reach him, with love, touch, presence. But behind the locked door inside him, his answer was always the same:
"Don't come in. I still ain't out of there "
And so the war went on — not on battlefields, but in memories that refused to leave. Because some wounds cut deeper than the flesh. And some wars never end
