The Bird of Paradise (Kumul) is the National Bird of Papua New Guinea, a symbol of beauty and pride. These birds often live along the border between Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Sadly, in West Papua, they are being hunted with high powered weapons. This cruel act is pushing the Bird of Paradise closer to danger, robbing future generations of its beauty. The Kumul needs protection, not bullets..it deserves to fly free in the forests, safe from human greed...
