The YOYO is gorgeous. Lightweight, well-made, and the kind of stroller that turns heads. I get why it has such a following.

But after 5 months with the bassinet attachment, here’s the honest take: for the average mom who’s hauling everything, folding on the go, and navigating real life (not just a coffee run), it didn’t hold up to the day-to-day the way I expected.

Folding it was more of a project than it should be. We even had one moment where we just shoved it in the car as-is because we didn’t have time to deal with it. That says something.

We also bought ours secondhand, and I think that’s honestly the smarter move if you’re curious about it. Paying full price for twice the cost of a stroller that performs comparably? Hard to justify.

If aesthetics and portability are your top priorities and your lifestyle fits it, the YOYO makes sense. But for the mom who needs practical above pretty, there are options that work harder for less.
