The International Criminal Court (ICC) shared an official video message today, May 11, 2026, formally confirming that it has issued an arrest warrant against Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.

SEGURIDAD SA SENADO, MAHIGPIT PA RIN; MEDIA, IPINAGBAWALANG MAKAPASOK
Nananatiling bantay-sarado ang buong paligid ng Senado ngayong gabi, Lunes, Mayo 11, kasunod ng ipinatupad na total lockdown sa buong gusali.
Naka-deploy ang mga pulis at tauhan ng National Bureau of Investigation sa mga pasukan at labas ng pasilidad upang tiyakin ang kaayusan at seguridad.
Dahil sa kasalukuyang lockdown, hindi rin pinahihintulutang makapasok o lumabas maging ang mga mamamahayag na nagbabantay sa lugar para sa mga update.
Inaasahang mananatili ang ganitong mahigpit na seguridad hangga’t hindi pa nalulutas ang tensyon sa loob kaugnay ng pagsisilbi ng arrest warrant laban kay Senador Bato Dela Rosa.

Initially filed as confidential and under seal, this development marks a major step in the ICC’s proceedings related to alleged crimes committed during the country’s controversial war on drugs.
