So honored to have conducted ’s first ever Makeup Class! It was a pretty tight schedule today, I came straight out of a photoshoot but I am always glad to be able to teach what I love, beauty literacy!

BTS : MUA’s POV 🔍 When working on this issue, I had the chance to experience the actual Tanyak Tanyak face painting tradition using the real bamboo tool and flour pigment. It felt like a full-circle moment because my first Vogue issue also featured dotted stars and and moons tradition. The stars truly witnessed this alignment. ⭐️✨🌟

Mindanao will always have a special place in my heart. Its rich culture from food, fashion, architecture, to its flora and fauna . I’m grateful to be part of the team that poured much passion into this issue. 🖤
