Marcelina's Honey Bee Farm

Today is the feast of St. Ambrose the patron saint of bees, beekeepers and candle makers. He gave his name to ambrosia, a term beekeepers sometimes use for the mixture of nectar and pollen prepared by worker honey bees to feed their larvae. Legend has it that when Ambrose was an infant, a swarm of bees settled in his mouth, said to be a sign he would become a great orator.
