A testament of God’s Abounding Grace in the Kidney Transplant Journey of Allain

19/08/2026

Health Update:

Latest blood tests are already out and showed that his creatinine jumped from 1.72 to 1.93 over the last 10 days after adjusting his Prograf dosage. On the bright side, his Tacro Trough level is just slightly below normal range now.

Please continue to stand with us in faith and prayer:

* For his creatinine levels to stabilize and drop to the lowest point of his new baseline.
* For his Tacro levels to balance out perfectly with the right dosage adjustments.
* For God’s ultimate protection over his body and his precious new kidney.

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him."
— Psalm 28:7

Just 10 days after celebrating Allain’s 1-year kidney transplant checkup, we were back for another lab run today to check his creatinine and tacrolimus trough levels, plus other blood tests.

His tacrolimus dipped to 3.8, which meant immediate meds adjustments by his nephrologist. Because toxicity almost destroyed his new kidney during those fragile first three months, his doctor needs to monitor these levels closely.

Please keep Allain in your prayers as his body settles into this new dose, and, if there will be more adjustments as soon as the lab results are available. 🙏

365 days of renewed hope, second chances, and God’s healing grace.

One year ago today, Allain received the life-giving gift of a successful kidney transplant. Looking back, we can truly say: “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” (1 Samuel 7:12)

From the uncertain days before surgery to every challenges in recovery, none of these would have been possible without the Lord’s faithfulness, the donor’s selfless love, and the Christian community’s prayers and support. These are reminders of God’s love throughout this journey.

THANK YOU! 🙏

God is truly in the details! 🥹☝️

It is so breathtaking to realize how the Lord aligns everything perfectly—down to the exact minute a post pops up on someone else’s feed.

What felt like a simple act of passing along Allain’s extra medicines turned out to be a direct answer to a fellow believer’s desperate prayer, a complete stranger. Out of thousands of members in that KT group, God made sure she saw it first.

Moments like this leave you completely in awe of His heart. He sees every medical expense, every quiet prayer, and every daily need of His children.

To be a vessel for His divine provision to others, despite of our own needs, is such a humbling and overwhelming privilege.

Praise God for His goodness, His perfect timing, and the quiet ways He reminds us that His sick children are never forgotten. All glory to the Lord! 🙌✨

Update: Already taken.

FREE MEDICATION GIVEAWAY for A Kidney Transplant Recipient! ❤️

We recently received some free medications for Allain’s current needs, and in the same spirit of giving back, we want to pay it forward by giving away 20 bottles of Nystatin (100,000 I.U./mL, 12 mL).

These are vital prophylaxis medications used immediately after a kidney transplant. We originally bought a 3-month supply from a premier hospital (20 bottles left cost Php 14,474.60) because we live in the province where they aren't easily accessible.

However, after changing doctors, Allain was advised to stop taking Nystatin due to tacrolimus toxicity.

We sincerely hope these go to a Kidney Transplant (KT) recipient who truly needs them right now.

Details & How to Claim:
* 💵 Cost: FREE! You only need to shoulder the shipping fee, if far, or pick-up.
* ✋ How to comment: First to comment "MINE" will be prioritized.
* 📋 Requirements (only for those we don’t know personnally): To ensure these are used intentionally and NOT sold, you must provide proof of need (e.g., KT patient medical prescription).

Please send a direct message or comment below if you or someone you know can benefit from these. Let’s help a fellow KT warrior! 🙏✨

Please pray for Allain 🙏

Rain + crowds + long travel + little sleep = a cold he definitely didn't need! 🌧️😴

As a kidney transplant recipient, his anti-rejection meds mean his immune system is always running low, so all his activities yesterday caught up with him fast. He’s in bed resting it off today.

Psalm 41:3: "The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness."

By God’s grace, Allain’s latest medical consultations went well! Here is an update on his continuous recovery journey as he marks one year post-transplant in a few days:

Nephrology Update:
His creatinine remains stable at baseline! However, his tacrolimus level (a key marker for kidney rejection or toxicity) dipped significantly, so his anti-rejection meds have been adjusted. He will get his creatinine checked again in 10 days to ensure the higher medication does not adversely affect his levels.

Transplant Urology Update:
The CT stonogram came back clear! To stay safe, his urine RBC will be tested monthly for the next 6 months. If his levels exceed 15/hpf, he will need a cystoscopy. It’s a medical test that lets a doctor look inside the bladder and urethra. This checks for problems like stones, infections, or early signs of cancer.

Endocrinology Update:
His endocrinology appointment was rescheduled, so we will post another update once he is seen by his doctor.

Thank you all for continuing to stand with us, pray for Allain, and walk this journey alongside our family!

Thank You, Lord, for Your amazing provision! ❤️ A huge thank you to the kind parent of a former student who generously helped out with some of Allain’s basic maintenance medicines. Blessed and deeply grateful. Praise the Lord! 🙌

This is going to be a very busy day as Allain will meet with his nephrologist, transplant urologist, and endocrinologist. With the latest lab results and procedures ready, each doctor will separately assess his latest health status as he hits his 1-year Kidney Transplant milestone.
