Nutrition Month Celebration Brings Community Together in Barangay Cagbas.

In celebration of Nutrition Month, the Barangay Council of Cagbas, together with school stakeholders, the Barangay Health Station (BHS) staff, and the Barangay Nurse, conducted a one-day health and nutrition symposium at Cagbas Elementary School and the Cagbas Day Care Center.

The activity highlighted the importance of proper nutrition, healthy living, and food security. Participants were encouraged to establish small home gardens to provide fresh, nutritious vegetables for their families at little or no cost. This initiative promotes healthier households, reduces food expenses, and encourages self-sufficiency within the community.

Through the collective efforts of the Barangay Council, health workers, educators, and community partners, Barangay Cagbas continues to promote a healthier and more nutrition-conscious community for everyone.
