Tao lang tayo. Wala tayong superpowers makalipad o makapag-teleport patungo sa lugar na gusto nating mapuntahan. Lalong wala rin tayong superpowers maabot instantly ang success na hinahanap natin.

There is no easy way to success. Walang elevator. May shortcut man, pero hindi lahat ng shortcuts to success ay safe. Mas maiging maghagdan. Paunti-unti, one step at a time.

So, paano sisimulan ang pag-akyat sa hagdan na ito?

CREATE YOUR OWN DEFINITION OF SUCCESS FIRST
Kung ang "success" para sa iyo ay maging milyonaryo, maniwala ka, aabutin ka nang mahabang mahabang panahon bago mo marating ang sinasabi mong success. You can't just live every day of your life chasing money.

Pero kung ang "success" para sa iyo ay maging masaya sa buhay at career nang hindi naghihirap dahil sa pera, maaari kang makagawa ng maayos na plano pa’no mo mararating ang tuktok ng tagumpay. Dahil mayroon kang specific goals na maaabot sa bawat steps na magagawa mo paakyat.

Iba-iba tayo ng depinisyon ng success pero mas maiging pag-isipan nating mabuti ito at ilista ang mga short-term at long-term goals na gusto nating maabot on our way to our ultimate goal.

EACH STEP IS A CHANCE TO IMPROVE YOURSELF
Bigyang halaga natin ang pag-improve sa talent at skills na meron tayo na makatutulong sa pag-abot ng pangarap natin.

Kung gusto mong maging writer, kailangang mag-practice ka magsulat. Kung gusto maging singer, mag-practice ka rin umawit ng iba’t ibang kanta at sumali sa mga singing groups o competitions. Sa ganitong paraan ay mahahasa ka lalo.

At syempre, hindi lang talent at skills ang kailangang pagbutihin. Dapat pati na rin ang personality natin. Let us surround ourselves with positivity. Maging stressful man ang journey na ito, huwag tayong magpapabalot sa takot, stress, at negativities.

FOCUS ON THE JOURNEY
Magandang may goal destination tayo pero huwag natin masyadong i-focus ang isip natin doon. Mahalagang pagtuunan nang pansin ang journey na tinatahak natin ngayon, kung nasaan tayo ngayon.

Find your passion, practice it and let it bring you to your destination. Slowly but surely. Huwag kang magmamadali. Your journey to success should not be a car race track but rather a colorful stairway. Take your time and take each step one at a time.
