Mga Bombay, dito rin.
Mga Koreano, ganun din.
Mga Hapon, same story.
Iba’t ibang lahi, Pilipinas ang pinipili para mag-negosyo.

Pero tayong mga Pinoy?
Umaalis ng bansa para magtrabaho.
Mapapatanong ka talaga eh…

May mali ba?

May narinig akong storya dati na sabi ng chinese:
“Dito sa Pilipinas, maraming pera.”

Napaisip ako. Totoo nga naman.
Ang problema, hindi tayo tinuruan maghanap ng pera, tinuruan tayong magtrabaho para sa pera.

Lumaki tayo na ang sabi:
“Anak, mag-aral ka mabuti para makahanap ka ng magandang trabaho.”

Sa school, ganun din ang turo, empleyado mindset, hindi negosyo mindset.

Kaya tanong lang:
Sino ba kadalasan ang may malaking bahay, kotse, at ipon?

Empleyado… o negosyante?
Ang masakit na katotohanan?
Yung perang hinahabol natin sa abroad, nandito lang din pala sa Pilipinas.

Kailangan lang ibang pananaw, ibang diskarte, at ibang lakas ng loob.

Hindi trabaho lang ang sagot.
Minsan, negosyo ang kulang sa isip natin.

Isang 17-anyos na binatilyo sa China ang nagsimulang mawalan ng gana sa pag-aaral. Para sa kanyang ina, walang silbi ang paulit-ulit na pagtatalo—kaya naisip niya ang ibang paraan. Imbes na pilitin ang anak, ipinakita niya kung ano talaga ang hitsura ng totoong buhay.
