On August 17, 2026, the Communicators of UP (COMMUP) held its General Assembly for the first semester of Academic Year 2026–2027. The event aimed to welcome freshmen and familiarize students with what lies ahead in their journey as Communication students.

The five-hour gathering featured various segments designed to bring Communicators of UP closer together, regardless of year level, fostering a stronger sense of community and strengthening relationships among its members.

The results of the 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗣 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 for the Freshies' 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 are now official.

Congratulations to our newly elected Freshies' Batch Representative! As you begin your term, may you lead with integrity, dedication, and a genuine commitment to representing the voices and interests of the Communication freshmen.

We also extend our appreciation to all the candidates for their willingness to serve and to every freshman who participated in the election. Your engagement reflects the importance of student participation in shaping a stronger and more inclusive COMMUP community.

Day 3 of this semester’s registration period—which is assigned to communicators whose student numbers begin with 2025 and below—was going strong today at the Performing Arts Hall.

For communicators who plan to go on Friday, August 7 (free-for-all), kindly arrive early and be patient as the faculty processes your enrollment. Let’s make this a smooth and organized start to the semester! 🧡
