You know what’s one of the greatest life updates?

I actually seldom post about law school stuff para di mausog ‘cause you know a lot of evil eyes are lurking around. But I think it’s high time we talk about it, including how I manage to be visible in the SocMed that make me earn. Lol.

I salute all working law students, not that I degrade the ones who are not ha. It’s not easy juggling work and law school. I was in their shoes before, but I ended up wearing the same again.

I would pre-schedule my postings, inserting the editing works in my daily jams M-F, so it automatically posts even when I’m doing acads stuff from Thu-Su. I use my spotlight highlights to keep the engagement even while I’m offline. I also post it in YouTube shorts, IG & FB reels — post ma # # indeed!

People think doing music jams here in Tiktok is easy; tbh, it takes a lot of work. You show up, even if you have upcoming exams/recits. You show up, even when all you want to do is enjoy the coziness of your couch. You show up, even no one’s watching. You show up, even when your heart is aching for many different reasons. You show up, even when your wifi betrays you and rely on your own data. You show up just because.

So I thank my for being there even when I have nothing to offer, , even when I’m just studying for an exam in my livestream, even if I just showed up. Being in this platform taught me a lot about humility, perseverance, and confidence, and that they can all exist in harmony. For you, this is entertainment, for me this is another world I get to enjoy while balancing life and law. Win-win sitch, right?

Surprisingly, my grades improved even when I was side-hustling online again. Might as well try it? Charaught!

So to all law students, working or not, aim not just to survive but also to thrive. After all, you never entered law school just to stay at the entrance, right?

— I love being a home buddy. Sometimes I ask myself if I did the right thing such as saying no to opportunities, burning bridges that no longer served my being, and choosing which battles are worth fighting for, just so I could have the life I have right now.

And YES I did — being able to enjoy the slow mornings with fam, the warm cuddles of my cats, watching movies/teleseryes with momma, or even having groceries or eat outs with her, indulging myself with some great tasting matcha treats, and enjoying the best of both worlds (studying/singing), I wouldn’t exchange that for anything.
