Across the world, beauty takes many forms.
Among the Himba people of Namibia, the striking red color in their hair comes from a mixture of red ochre clay and butterfat called otjize.
More than decoration, it protects their skin and hair from the harsh sun and symbolizes life, earth, and cultural identity. A beautiful reminder that traditions carry stories passed through generations.

Exploring the beauty of Żyrowa Palace.
Quiet surroundings, timeless architecture, and a calm atmosphere. A peaceful place that feels rich with history.
Walking slowly through a winter forest,
listening to the sound of my own steps.
Peace feels different out here.

Eba to sa amin
This is bilimbi.
Bilimbi, a small, green, and unapologetically sour, hanging from backyard trees, waiting to be picked by curious hands. This fruit may wrinkle the face at first bite, but it carries stories of home, of simple kitchens, and of afternoons where time moves slower.
It reminds us that not everything meant to nourish has to be sweet. Some things wake us up, sharpen our senses, and bring us back to moments we didn’t know we’d miss, grandmothers cooking sinigang, neighbors sharing harvests, children daring each other to take a bite.
Bilimbi thrives quietly, teaching us that even the simplest things, when grown with patience and warmth, become part of who we are. 🌿

More than a game, sungka is patience, strategy, and stories shared on a wooden board—an old Filipino rhythm passed from hand to hand. 🇵🇭✨
Play slow, think deep, remember home.

A scoop of childhood, rolled through the streets, sorbetes, lovingly called dirty ice cream, sweetened not by sugar alone but by memories of the Philippines. 🇵🇭🍦
Simple joys, shared laughter, under the sun.
