I have friends I don’t talk to as often anymore, and honestly, I don’t even know what struggles they’re dealing with these days. I guess this is what happens when we grow older, when life’s realities hit us hard. We all have our own battles to face now. The carefree nights of drinking and hanging out on the corner have slowly faded into silence. But I haven’t forgotten them—I know they’re just as busy as I am, trying to make sense of life and keep going.

A lot has changed, and the world has pulled us in different directions. Even when we don’t hear from each other, I silently pray they’re doing okay. My friend, wherever you are, I hope you’re managing, just like me.
