DOH COVID-19 CASE BULLETIN #062
As of 4PM today, May 15, 2020, the Department of Health reports 215 new cases (PH11877-PH12091) of COVID-19. NCR with additional 144 new cases, Region 7 with an additional 2 new cases and 69 new cases from different Regions. The total number of cases in the country is now at 12,091.
DOH also announces 123 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 2,460.

As of 4PM today, May 5, 2020, the Department of Health reports 199 new cases (PH9486-PH9684) of COVID-19. NCR with 173 new additional cases, Region 7 with additional 1 case and 25 new cases from different Regions.The total number of cases in the country is now at 9,684.
DOH also announces 93 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 1,408.

DOH COVID-19 CASE BULLETIN #048
As of 4PM today, May 1, 2020, the Department of Health reports 284 new cases (PH8489-PH8772) of COVID-19. The total number of cases in the country is now at 8,772.
DOH also announces 41 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 1,084.

Watch out for signs of heat stroke – dizziness, headache, weakness, lack of sweating, flushed skin, increase body temperature.
Heat stroke at risk: Hot weather, too much exercise, lack of water intake, elderly and babies, those with medical conditions.
Heat Stroke prevention:
1: Avoid going out of building between 10 AM to 4 PM. Wear loose, cotton and white clothing.
2: Don’t exercise too much when it is hot. Body is weaker during hot weather. Stay indoors.
3: Drink 8-10 glasses of water. Check urine color and make sure it is light yellow, not dark-colored.
4: Use wet towel to wipe body. Take bath more often. When outside, stay under shade or trees.
5: Wear wide-brimmed hat. Use umbrella. Wear sunglasses. Think cool.
6: Eat foods with high water content like watermelon and coconut water. See doctor for symptoms.
